Mallards Pike - Cinderford - Soudley - Mallards Pike Walk

WalkExplorer

The walk explores the ancient Forest of Dean. It takes the walker through mixed woods as well as evergreens. There are usually deer about as well as other forest birds and animals.

The paths are all good and usually dry. Mallards Pike Lakes are home to many water birds including mandarin duck, which nest in the area. Autumn supplies lovely colours, as well as shelter from rain!! There is nothing nicer than walking in the leaves and collecting sweet chestnuts, which do very well in the area.
